How does the Bimini Top work?
The Bimini top hinges in the middle so it will expand with the boat when you push the button to expand the Island Boat to 10′.
Can the pontoon boat run in the expanded position?
Yes! The expanded position is the preferred position for running the boat so you can enjoy all the benefits of a more spacious living and playing space. With 10′ of beam, you will have room for lots of water toys from skis to large inflatables you can pull behind the boat.
What size engine do you recommend?
You have a choice when it comes to horsepower to power the Island Boat. The 18/22 Model performs well with the standard 60HP engine it comes with, but if you would like up increase the horsepower, you can upgrade to a 90HP or even 150HP engine. The 22/26 model comes standard with a 90hp but can be upgraded to a 150hp, 200hp, or even a 250hp.
I really want a nice stereo. What stereo can I get with the boat?
We believe that you are out on the water to have fun and music is a big part of that. That’s why we include the KMC10 Media Center from Kicker Marine. Island Boats come standard with 4 amazing speakers but if lighted speakers float your boat, you can upgrade to the LED lighted speakers.
Can I retract the pontoons if the battery dies?
Absolutely! Normally the pontoons retract and expand at the push of a button, but in the unlikely event that your battery is drained, you can use the hand crank to easily retract the pontoons for trailering.
